Meet the Model: Jennifer May Reiland
Location: Paris, France
Occupation: Artist and Writer
Who are your biggest style inspirations?
1930’s European nobility on safaris/archaeological digs, evil queens from children’s books, and Edward Gorey illustrations.
The ends of days on which I have done done good artistic work.
If you were magically turned into a clothing item/bag/accessory, what would it be? I guess I identify most with a canvas tote bag with a nice design printed on it. I have some nice purses, but I almost never carry them because I usually am carrying books, bananas, bottles of water, more or less comfortable shoes, pads of paper, paint, etc. I’m afraid to stretch out my good bags, and as a result the canvas tote is my look.
Biggest life goal?
I’m not a Republican but I believe in the value of hard work. I will be satisfied if, looking back on my life, I have worked my hardest and produced drawings, writings, and films that I am proud of.
The world is ending. Your last tweet ever?
“Since we are all about to die in a blaze of nuclear fire, I’m glad I spent my time on earth smoking and drinking and eating cheeseburgers.”
